Installation
How long does installation take?
About 10-15 minutes per door with basic tools (drill, screwdriver).
What surfaces does it work on?
Hardwood, tile, concrete, laminate, vinyl, and low-pile carpet. Works best on smooth, flat surfaces.
Do I need to drill holes?
Yes. StealthStop requires drilling small pilot holes for the included mounting screws. This ensures a permanent, rock-solid hold.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. If you can use a drill, you can install StealthStop. We include everything you need except the drill.
What tools do I need?
A drill with appropriate bit for your floor type, and a screwdriver. All mounting hardware is included.

No. Rare-earth magnets maintain their strength for decades.
Can I remove and reinstall it?
Yes. Simply unscrew and reinstall. The old holes can be filled with wood filler if needed.
